Rev. Dr. Parrish L. Bridges

Parrish Bridges grew up in California however he has served churches not only in his home state but New York, Arkansas, Mississippi and North Carolina.  Parrish received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Tennessee Temple University in Pastoral Studies. His goals for the church include increasing the community’s awareness of the church’s activities, to encourage more volunteerism and leadership roles within the congregation, to broaden biblical literacy through small group study and to increase the membership at FPC.  Being relatively new to this position Parrish, ‘looks forward to working with community leaders, businesses, religious organizations, and churches to meet the needs of our community with the message of God’s love and grace.’  One of his favorite church activities is serving as a table parent and youth teacher at the Wednesday evening LOGOS program plus serving on the Board of Directors of Cabwaylingo.

He and his wife Pamela have four grown children and three grandchildren. Parrish enjoys traveling, water sports, guitar and visiting historical sites.
