Across the globe, FPC works to ensure others will know, love, and serve Jesus Christ.

Operation Christmas Child

It is time to start building shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child.  LOGOS will kick-off our collection season Wednesday night, November 3rd.  The congregation is invited to participate again this year.  Boxes will be available at church for you to fill as in previous years.  Please include a check for $9 for each box you fill.

Boxes may also be built online from the comfort of your own home.  Click on the link below and you will be taken to the FPC Goal Page where you can select what items you want to include in your shoebox.  You can pick boy or girl and the desired age group.  This unique service is only $25 per box and includes the box, the items and the postage.  The deadline for building a box for FPC will be Sunday, November 21st.

Gallito Presbyterian Church, Peru

FPC joined with Medical Missions and six other Presbyterian Churches in 2002 to establish a church in Iquitos, Peru. Presbyterian Church of the Amazon’s Sanctuary and El Jardin Campus were dedicated in 2003, with FPC being one of the seven founding churches.

By 2005, the main church in Iquitos had established eight village churches along the Amazon River. In that same year, Amazon Mission Fellowship was established to carry on the work begun by Medical Missions. FPC was one of the founding partners with Amazon Mission Fellowship.

FPC established a sister relationship with the Gallito Presbyterian Church in 2006. The Gallito Church is located in a small village along the Amazon River, about a 30-minute boat ride from Iquitos. FPC has worked in partnership with Pastor Edwar Huaman and the members of the church to construct a Sanctuary, fresh water well, chicken coop, a youth center and a family water purification system.

Each year in November, FPC sends an advance team to meet with Pastor Edwar, discuss how FPC can assist them in their ministries and plan for our summer mission team. Each summer, we send a loving, compassionate, enthusiastic and joyful team of people who conduct medical clinics, children’s ministries, construction projects, and distributes water purification systems.

One Great Hour of Sharing

Through our annual One Great Hour of Sharing offering, the love of Christ is made real for individuals and communities around the world who suffer the effects of disaster, conflict or severe economic hardships. Projects are underway in more than 100 countries.

PC(USA) Missionaries

Through our denominational support, we enable Presbyterian mission co-workers and church partners in 50 countries to passionately minister in word and deed, believing that all things are possible through Jesus Christ. We participate in four special offerings each year to further the PC(USA) Ministry.

  • One Great Hour of Sharing – Serve the “least of these” among us by providing relief to those affected by catastrophic events, giving sustainable food resources to the hungry, and changing the structures that perpetuate poverty, oppression, and injustice.
  • Pentecost Offering – Help the church encourage, develop, and support its younger members to build a life of faith with a foundation established during childhood.
  • Peace & Global Witness Offering – Provides tools and resources for the Church as we join together as active peacemakers at all times in all ways, like the reconciliation work in South Sudan, international advocacy at the UN, or a peace camp for kids in New Jersey.
  • Christmas Joy Offering – Respond to God’s perfect gift, Jesus Christ, by providing assistance to current and retired church workers in their time of need and developing future leaders at Presbyterian-related schools and colleges equipping communities of color.
