Congregational Fellowship
To love one another as Jesus commanded, we must take time to get to know one another. To develop friendships that will last a lifetime and create an open and friendly environment, a host of fellowship events are planned each year.
After Worship Receptions
We celebrate special events at FPC with after worship appetizer buffets in our comfortable Friendship Hall.
After Worship Fundraising Meals
We are mission-driven at FPC. To encourage grass-root support for our missions, including Cabwaylingo Presbyterian Chapel, we host after worship dinners and hot dog lunches.
All Church Events
Our congregation enjoys spending time together in fellowship and fun. Annual church events include a Church Birthday Party at Camden Park, Church Picnic at Ritter Park, Chili Taste-Off, Congregational Dinner, Gingerbread Decorating Party, caroling at Hospice House, and more.
Bluestone Family Retreat
At our annual Memorial Day weekend retreat, we laugh, play, relax, and study together, building lasting memories and friendships. Nestled among the rolling Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia, the 480-acre Bluestone Conference Center runs along the New River overlooking Bluestone Lake. The majestic setting lends itself to walks in the woods, fishing, canoeing, and brilliant campfires.
Families with Children Events
Families are important at FPC. Throughout the year, we host family-friendly events, such as an ice cream social, Easter egg hunt, pumpkin carving, movie night, WV Power baseball, and more.
